Gasoline prices dip to near 7-week low

Vietnam gasoline prices on Tuesday plunged to the lowest since March 5.
The most popular fuel RON95 declined 3.03% to VND23,040 (US$0.88) per liter.
Biofuel E5 RON92 fell 2.92% to VND21,930.
Diesel plunged 10.2% to VND27,850.
Global fuel prices have been declining amid expectations of the next round of peace negotiations between the United States and Iran. RON95 gasoline prices fell by 5.2%, diesel by 11.9%, and mazut by 2.9%.

In Vietnam, RON95 prices are now around 14% higher than the end of February when the Middle East conflict began.
The government has brought gasoline and diesel taxes to zero in an effort to control retail prices.
