Remember Virat Kohli's famous one-liner, "Do I look the puja path types?" To him, visiting Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan for spiritual enlightenment shows that he has changed drastically.
On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma arrived in Vrindavan to seek blessings from Premanand Maharaj; several photos and videos from the same have gone viral.
This happened merely two days after Virat Kohli liked German influencer LizLaz's photo on Instagram, and after the news and screenshots went viral, he unliked it, but the news of him liking it hasn't died down.
In the video, to meet Premanand Ji Maharaj, Virat Kohli wore a maroon shirt and denims, while Anushka Sharma was spotted in a white salwar suit. The videos show the couple inside the ashram of Premanand Ji Maharaj at Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj, where they sought blessings and took part in an "Ekantik Vartalaap," which is a private spiritual interaction. In clips shared online, Kohli and Anushka were seen sitting quietly among devotees, listening to the guru's discourse in a serene setting.

Anushka Sharma was seen teary-eyed and emotional. Another clip shows Anushka touching the feet of Maharaj Ji as she arrived at Delhi airport. Unlike every time, this time, Virat was trolled mercilessly as he visited the ashram merely two days after liking the photo. Many alleged that it was Virat and Anushka's image makeover and a PR stunt.
In the viral picture, tilaks are painted on Virat and Anushka's foreheads, implying their spiritual inclination. Apart from their ashram videos, several videos from the airport have also gone viral; in those, Anushka is seen looking at her husband wistfully, prompting posts like, "Find someone who looks at you the way Anushka looks at Virat."

After Virat liked Lizlaz's photo, she spoke to the media about the controversy that erupted and the way Virat had to battle online trolls.
What LizLaz told media
Talking about being thrown into the sudden limelight, LizLaz told Hindustan Times, "No, I felt a bit sorry for him actually. I was so happy that he liked it, but then his unliking it—I felt a bit bad for him because I don't even know how it became such a big story. How did people notice? How did they make it news? That was probably not his intention behind it, but still, I am grateful for it, and I appreciate the support from him."
"It was crazy because I woke up and then I was all over the news. I don't even know when he liked the picture—I learned through the news. So many people found the articles written about me on different platforms and sent them to me in my DMs. I got so many messages today; people were super excited about it," she said.
For the unversed, Virat Kohli is married to actor Anushka Sharma. The couple are parents to two kids Vamika and Akaay.
