One I'm A Celebrity star appeared on Tuesday's edition of Good Morning Britain, where he addressed recent news about the WhatsApp group chat. When quizzed about how Scarlett Moffatt's fellow campmates learnt of her pregnancy news, he said: "She told us that in the WhatsApp group a few weeks ago, she asked us all to keep it quiet.

"I've not been that engaged with the WhatsApp group because someone in the group is selling stories from the WhatsApp group to the newspapers. So I kind of went, ooh, I'm not getting involved that much. We did know a couple of weeks ago, and I'm so glad for her because she's lovely."

He went on to add: "She was talking in there about finding it difficult to conceive and to come out and basically get very quickly pregnant after coming out of the jungle, everyone is really chuffed for her."

Entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold was left visibly taken aback by Craig's startling revelation, prompting Susanna Reid to swiftly ask whether he had any idea who was responsible.

Craig replied: "No, people have suspicions, but I couldn't possibly comment. It's certainly not me!"

The veteran soap actor first appeared on the original ITV programme back in 2014 and is amongst those currently vying for the coveted title of jungle legend.

While his initial stint was tragically cut short following the devastating loss of his brother, Craig remains in contention to reach the show's live final, which is due to air this Friday, 24th April. Other celebrities still in contention include Ashley Roberts, Adam Thomas, Sinitta, Beverley Callard, Harry Redknapp, Jimmy Bullard, Scarlett Moffatt and Sir Mo Farrah.

Those who have already been eliminated from the show include Seann Walsh, David Haye and Gemma Collins.

Following her exit, Gemma had only glowing words when reflecting on her second stint in the jungle, saying: "My second time in the jungle was nothing but amazing. The first time I was in there, experiences happened beyond my control, so I wasn't really going in there with the right mindset.

"This time, I went in there all guns blazing. It was like a weird sort of holiday, but a lovely one."
