Aneet's tribute highlighted the deep love they shared. She reflected, “You were drifting away, but you didn’t forget makhan. You held on to love, even when you couldn’t hold on to memory.” The Saiyaara actress vowed to treasure every moment spent together and carry those memories with her forever. She promised to embody his kindness and light during difficult times, stating that his stories would continue to be told. Emotionally, she shared, “I spotted the brightest star in the sky today, and I knew where you went.”

In Saiyaara, Aneet plays Vaani Batra, a writer diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at a young age. Drawing parallels between her character and her grandfather's struggles, she shared with The Hollywood Reporter India that he faced memory loss, which made the film resonate deeply with her. “I believed in this film because it says 'dimaag bhool jaata hai par dil kabhi nahi bhoolta (the mind forgets but the heart does not)', and that's very true for my dadu,” she remarked, recalling how he often forgot her name. Aneet fondly remembered how he would sometimes call her Heeraput or Makkhan.


Aneet Padda's Future Projects Aneet Padda's upcoming film

On the professional front, Aneet is currently working on Shakti Shalini, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. This film is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe and features Vishal Jethwa and Viineet Kumar Siingh alongside her. Shakti Shalini is scheduled for release on December 24. Additionally, she will reunite with Mohit Suri, Ahaan Panday, and YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani for another romantic musical following Saiyaara, which is still in the pre-production phase.
