UP Board 10th & 12th Results 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has implemented several significant security-related changes to the mark sheets issued to Class 10 and 12 students this year. Under this new system, the mark sheets being prepared will be far more secure and durable than those issued previously.

This time, the mark sheets are being embedded with several modern security features aimed at curbing attempts to create fraudulent copies. The new mark sheets will not only be robust but also resistant to water damage, making it extremely difficult to tamper with them in any way.

The Board has also decided to implement several new provisions regarding security and quality standards for the mark sheets issued to students. Each mark sheet will display the student's name and marks obtained. Furthermore, the names of the student's parents will be printed in both Hindi and English.

**Mark Sheets to Feature 16 Security Elements**
The mark sheets issued this year will incorporate approximately 16 distinct security features. Some of these features will be visible to the naked eye, while others will require specialized tools—such as UV light or magnifying lenses—to be identified. The primary objective of these security measures is to reinforce the authenticity of the mark sheets.

The new mark sheets will also incorporate security coding and holographic protection. Additionally, they will utilize special watermarks and "rainbow printing" techniques to ensure their distinctiveness and uniqueness. The Board is confident that the application of these technologies will render the counterfeiting of mark sheets virtually impossible.

**Neither Water-Soluble Nor Tearable**
Particular attention has also been paid to making the new mark sheets significantly more durable than their predecessors. They are being manufactured in a manner that prevents them from being easily torn; they will be "non-tearable,"—meaning they are resistant to tearing. Furthermore, they are being made waterproof to ensure they do not get damaged or disintegrate upon contact with water.

**Mark Sheets to be Non-Degradable**
It will also be impossible to perform any form of overwriting or alteration on the mark sheets. Furthermore, it is being made non-degradable so that its quality remains unaffected over time. The size of the marksheet has also been changed; it will now be produced in A4 size, which will be slightly longer than before.
