Mumbai Indians secured a big win of 99 runs against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium on April 20 after they bowled out the hosts in 100 runs in just 16 overs. This will be Mumbai Indians' second win of the season after four straight defeats. With the win, they moved to the 7th position in the points table, having a better net run rate than Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings.
Notably, this has been the first time MI has defeated GT on their home ground. MI would thank Naman Dhir and Tilak Varma for the efforts they gave with the balls. On the field too, they were top-notch, with Naman shining in this department too. With the ball, Jasprit Bumrah ended his wicketless streak, while youngster Ashwani Kumar outshone the stars with a fourfer.
