RCB star batter Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma visited Premanand Ji Maharaj amid the ongoing IPL 2026. They were seen sitting with other devotees, listening to the saint. Kohli wore a t-shirt and pants while Anushka was in a traditional outfit. According to TOI, the couple’s visit coincided with Akshay Tritiya on April 19.
Kohli and his better half often meet Premanand Ji Maharaj to seek his blessings. They are following a spiritual path for inner peace.
Virat has also visited the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram, Hanuman Garhi Temple and the Mahakaleshwar Temple this year. He was last seen in action against the Delhi Capitals, and now there is a six-day gap before he returns to the field.
The right-handed batter has performed well for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 19th season of the tournament, amassing 247 runs in six innings at a strike rate of over 150, including two fifties. The 37-year-old posted 69*, 50, and 49 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), respectively.
In IPL 2025, he accumulated 657 runs in 15 innings at a strike rate of 144.71, laced with 8 fifties.
The veteran has scored 8,908 runs in 273 matches and is on the verge of completing 9,000 runs in IPL. He will next play against the Gujarat Titans on April 24. He has managed 351 runs in six innings against the Titans in the competition. He has recorded a strike rate of 143.27, with the highest score of 101 not out.
