Strait of Hormuz Routes: The Iran-America war has become a major challenge for global trade. Leaders all over the world are making every effort to find a solution to this problem. According to reports, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung has said that South Korea and India need to work together to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz. Also, both the countries should come together to stabilize the global supply chain.

According to Yonhap News Agency, President Lee Jae-myung said these things in an interview published on Monday. He gave an interview to TOI ahead of his summit talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

President Jae-Myung said that the important shipping route is closed due to the long-running war and ceasefire between America and Iran. Due to this, oil prices are increasing worldwide. Along with this, the supply chain of essential industrial materials is also being disrupted.

President Lee said South Korea will make efforts to ensure safe passage through the strategic route and overcome uncertainties in the global economy. It will also work with India in multilateral efforts to diversify the energy supply chain.
