A popular UK high street fashion retailer has closed its website after offering customers huge last-minute discounts in its "biggest ever sale".

LK Bennett plunged into administration, and the brand offered discounts of up to 80% before closing its website. Sales, however, continue at its nine stand-alone stores and 13 concession stores, which, however, were not included in the deal.

A message on the LK Bennett website read: "John Noon and Mark Firmin of Alvarez & Marsal Europe LLP were appointed Joint Administrators of Harmon Realisations Limited (registration number: 11903831) on 27 January 2026 pursuant to paragraph 22 of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986."

The message also read: "Immediately following their appointment, the LK Bennett brand and related intellectual property was sold to LKB IP Holdings, LLC (a Gordon Brothers affiliated entity). The LK Bennett stores were not included in the transaction and continue to trade under the Administration."

The closure of the website took place on April 13, and it will cut the price of its products by at least 80%. The retailer also said they have an online exclusive sale of up to 90% for its high-end dresses, shoes, accessories, and customers can grab last minute bargains today. The company, founded by Linda Bennett in London in 1990, collapsed in January, with John Noon and Mark Firmin of Alvarez & Marsal Europe LLP appointed as joint administrators later that month.

About the sales, a spokesperson added: "There are some truly exceptional offers available across all categories. Everything has been reduced, including new season pieces.

"We anticipate strong demand and expect key styles to sell through quickly; we would like to thank our loyal customers for their support over the years and invite them to shop early to avoid disappointment."

A message one the firm's website also read customers can "shop in store for a limited time".

LK Bennett is known for being a premium women's clothes brand, specialising in dresses, knitted wear, luxury footwear such as boots, and handbags. Customers now have their last chance to check the many offers available before the final closure.
