Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made a scathing attack on Congress regarding the Women's Reservation Bill during the “Jan-Aakrosh Mahila Padyatra” organized in Bhopal. He said that when this bill was not passed, Congress made fun of it. He also raised questions on Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and said that where have she gone now who used to talk big.

Expressed anger over the rights of sisters

CM said that Congress has done injustice to the sisters on the issue of women's rights. He alleged that the opposition has ignored the sentiments of half the country's population. He also said that it is now necessary to bring this anger in front of the entire country.

In his address, the Chief Minister mentioned great personalities like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Jyotiba Phule, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi. He said that all of them fought for women's rights and worked towards bringing change in the society.

The government stands with the sisters

Dr. Mohan Yadav clearly said that his government stands with the decisions of women. He said that the opposition's protest on the Women's Reservation Bill is unfortunate. The government will bring condemnation motion on this issue at every level and if necessary, a special session of the Assembly will also be called.

BJP State President Hemant Khandelwal also criticized the opposition in the program. She said that the Women's Reservation Bill is not a political issue but a women's right. She alleged that the opposition has hurt the hopes of women by creating obstacles on this issue.
