Virat, Anushka Seen Walking Hand in Hand In First Public Appearance Since LizLaz Controversy

Virat Kohli attracted a lot of judgment after fans spotted him liking a model’s photo on Instagram despite being married to Anushka Sharma. It had created a lot of controversy and while neither the cricketer nor the actress commented on the matter, fans noticed that he had unliked the photo as well.

LizLaz, the model whose photo Kohli had liked, did break her silence on the matter. Interestingly enough, paparazzi has also spotted the couple together.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen together, travelling from Bangalore to Delhi. Their videos and photos have been surfacing online. This is their first public appearance since Kohli faced backlash for liking LizLaz’s photo.

They both seemed to be comfortably dressed and also looked at ease with each other. They’re travelling to Delhi right in the midst of the 2026 IPL. It can be speculated that they are making this trip to visit Premchand Maharaj in Vrindavan. The two are often spotted together in Vrindavan to seek his blessings.

The controversy arose primarily because this wasn’t the first time fans spotted him liking another woman’s photos on Instagram. In the past, they had noticed that he liked Avneet Kaur’s photos. LizLaz also broke her silence on the controversy.

“I felt a bit sorry for him actually! I was so happy that he liked it, but then him unliking it, I felt a bit bad for him because I don’t even know how it became such a big story. How did people notice, how did they make it news… that was probably not his intention behind it, but still I am grateful for it and I appreciate the support from him.”

She hadn’t even noticed at first that he had liked the photo. LizLaz was then bombarded with comments, likes and DMs from fans and whatnot. She further said that she doubted his intentions of liking the photo meant any harm.

Kohli has since disliked the photo, and the model believes that something extremely small was blown out of proportion. Neither Kohli nor Sharma has commented on the matter, but their appearance together speaks volumes.
