Black magic came into discussion in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings. A fan uploaded a video on social media in which he was seen rotating a lemon in his hand, muttering something and repeatedly pointing towards the crease. During this, Shivam Dubey was clean bowled in no time. It was just a joke but now Lalit Modi has made a new claim regarding black magic. Lalati Modi has said that team owners do black magic to win matches in IPL.
Lalit Modi is the former commissioner of IPL. He says that the owners of IPL teams use black magic against the opposing teams. He claims that he also has solid evidence to the 2011 IPL season. He said that he is planning to reveal all these things through a TV serial or film.
Claim made on social media
Lalit Modi shared a viral post on social media. In this post, an alleged statement has been shared from Chennai Super Kings in which they had written a letter to BCCI complaining that in the match played in Hyderabad on April 18, the fans of Hyderabad team used witchcraft to influence the performance of Chennai. This post was going viral on social media.
Responding to this post, Lalit Modi wrote, ‘It looks fake but a team owner had done such an act.’ The owner was accused of performing occult rituals in the dressing room of the opposing team.
Claim to make a big disclosure
Lalit Modi wrote in another tweet, ‘I remember I had exposed an incident of a team owner doing this to the opposing team. He did exactly the same thing by going to the dressing room of the opposing team. I had warned the owners of the opposing teams about this in the 2011 season itself. When this incident happened, I received information with solid evidence. Lalit Modi said that through a film or TV serial, he will expose all such activities and tell who did these acts.
