The singer admitted that she regretted relying on alcohol and making poor decisions during that phase of 2-3 years. ‘A lot of things piled up. I was famous on one side, I was feeling certain things, my family dynamics broke apart, my father was no more, and I was successful,’ she shared.
When the host asked Jasmine Sandlas what pushed her to drink in her 20s, she recounted undergoing certain heartbreaks that resulted from her parents. She said that her parents broke her heart ‘unknowingly’, which led to resentment and an uncontrolled drinking habit. Although Jasmine confessed that she loves her parents, she pointed out that when a child’s heart breaks, it is difficult for them to overcome the feeling.
