NDA leaders have accused the opposition of working against women after the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill was not passed in the Lok Sabha. He said that this has been the habit of the opposition since the beginning, there is nothing new in it.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh has targeted the opposition parties. He said that the issue of women’s reservation was pending for the last 40 years, but Congress and other parties never tried to resolve it seriously.

He alleged that the parties of ‘Indi Alliance’ want to deprive women of reservation. It is not clear what happened to the DMK or its members in South India even though the Prime Minister had introduced a formula that would have ensured that seats in no state would be reduced.”

At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak said, “The women of the country and the state will never forgive the Congress and the Samajwadi Party. The opposition parties will have to bear the brunt of this. The opposition parties have nothing to say.”

They just want to mislead by making meaningless statements but the women and people of the country understand the truth very well. The women of the country and the state will never forgive Congress and Samajwadi Party. “Opposition parties will have to face its consequences.”

Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address, Om Prakash Rajbhar, minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, said, “The Prime Minister’s objective was that women should get reservation in the Constitution, as envisioned by Babasaheb Dr. BR Ambedkar, thereby ensuring equal participation of half the population. However, leaders of Congress, Samajwadi Party and other parties kept the Women’s Reservation Bill pending for 40 years, thus effectively shelving it without approval.”
