Immediate Relief Unlikely Even After Reopening of Hormuz

Despite the reopening of the Hormuz waterway, there is little expectation of an immediate decline in gas prices. The reason behind this is that LPG supplies cannot return to pre-war levels so quickly.

Attacks on the major gas production hub located at Ras Laffan in Qatar have severely impacted approximately 17 percent of its LNG export capacity.
