Friends, as we all know that in today’s modern era, social media platforms have become a part of our lives, social media provides entertainment, but do you want to take a break from it forever, then deleting your Instagram account is an easy process. It’s important to follow the correct steps to ensure that your account is scheduled for deletion correctly.

Open the Instagram app on your smartphone and tap your profile icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

When your profile page opens, find the three lines menu icon in the top-right corner and tap it.

This will open a menu, where you will have to select the “Account Center” option.

In the next step, go to the “Manage Account” section and select the account you want to delete.

After selecting your account, find the “Deactivation and Deletion” option.

This is where Instagram gives you options to the status of your account.

Now you will see two options:

Deactivate Account or Delete Account. If you are sure about permanently deleting your account, select “Delete Account” and tap the “Continue” button to proceed.

Instagram will then ask you to confirm your identity by entering your account password. Once you’ve entered the correct password and confirmed your choice, your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion.
