BTS Continues ARIRANG World Tour in Tokyo
Following a triumphant start in Goyang, Seoul, BTS has moved on to the next stop of their ARIRANG World Tour. On April 17, the group, consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, took the stage at Tokyo Dome, where they were met with an enthusiastic reception from their fans, known as ARMY. However, the atmosphere turned poignant as J-Hope paid a heartfelt tribute to his recently deceased grandmother, prompting fans to join him in remembrance.

During the first night of their sold-out concert in Tokyo, J-Hope revealed that he learned of his grandmother's passing shortly after arriving in Japan. He expressed that the presence of his bandmates provided him with the necessary support to cope with his loss. "When I landed here, I heard the news that my maternal grandmother, who raised me, had passed away. I was quite flustered, but I was with the members the whole time, doing the rehearsals, and then now with all this, I think I feel a little better," he shared with the audience.

Holding back tears, J-Hope continued, "Honestly, usually my grandmother really is so proud of my members and me as well. If she'd been watching this show from heaven, I'm sure she would have loved it. So with that, I think today's show has become even more great. I want to thank you all, ARMY. Truthfully, I love you all. Thank you." Fans noted that J-Hope, along with his sister Jiwon, was raised by their mother and has always shared a close bond with his grandmother, making her passing particularly hard for him.
