UPSSSC Recruitment 2026: There is good news for young aspirants preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the 2026 recruitment notification for the posts of Platoon Commander and Block Organizer under the Home Security Headquarters.

Under this recruitment drive, a total of 295 vacancies will be filled, comprising 52 posts for Platoon Commander and 243 posts for Block Organizer. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from June 16, 2026, to July 6, 2026.

**Who Can Apply?**
To apply for the posts of Block Organizer and Platoon Commander, candidates must hold a graduation degree (Bachelor's) from a recognized university. Regarding height, a minimum of 152 cm is required for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and SC categories, while for candidates from hilly regions and the ST category, the minimum requirement is set at 147 cm. This rule applies equally to both male and female candidates. Regarding the physical race, male candidates are required to complete a distance of 4.8 kilometers, while female candidates must complete 2.4 kilometers. This race is strictly qualifying in nature; that is, while passing it is mandatory, the marks obtained in it do not contribute to the final merit list.

**What is the Application Fee?**
For this recruitment drive, the application fee has been kept very low for candidates across all categories. Regardless of whether you belong to the General, OBC, SC, or ST category, you are not required to pay a separate application fee; you only need to pay an online processing fee of ₹25. In other words, the total fee for all candidates is just ₹25, which must be paid online at the time of submitting the application.

**What are the Age Limit Criteria?**
To apply for this recruitment, all candidates must meet a minimum age requirement of 21 years. The maximum age limit is set at 40 years for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, whereas candidates from the SC and ST categories are granted a relaxation, with their maximum age limit set at 45 years.

Candidates who have previously served in the Home Guard for a period of 3 years may be eligible for a maximum age limit of up to 42 years. Additionally, State Government employees will be granted an extra age relaxation of 5 years, in accordance with the applicable rules.
