Tezzbuzz Desk – As soon as the teaser of Ranbir Kapoor’s much-awaited film ‘Ramayana’ was released, the discussion on social media has intensified. While on one hand fans are excited about this mega project, on the other hand there are mixed reactions regarding the VFX of the film. Some people raised questions on the visual effects of the teaser, after which Yash, the co-producer of the film and playing the role of Ravana, has responded to this criticism.
What did Yash say on VFX?
During a recent interview, Yash said that work on the VFX of the film is still going on and the final product will be better than ever. He told that world-class VFX studio DNEG is working on this project, which is known for photorealistic visuals. Yash expressed confidence that when the film is completely ready, the audience will get a great visual experience.
Strong track record of DNEG
DNEG is no ordinary studio. He has worked on many big Hollywood projects like ‘Inception’, ‘Interstellar’, ‘Dune’ and ‘Tenet’ and has also won an Oscar Award for his work. In such a situation, the makers are confident that the VFX of ‘Ramayana’ will also be of the same level.
Did Yash watch the entire film?
In the interview, Yash was also asked whether he had seen the complete cut of the film. On this he told that he has seen a good version of the film, but the team is continuously working on making it better. According to him, further improvements will be seen in the film till its release.
Strong star cast and great preparation
Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Ram in this mega budget film. While Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Sita, Sunny Deol will be seen in the role of Hanuman and Yash himself will be seen in the role of Ravana. The film is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
‘Ramayana’ will be released in two parts. The first part will hit the theaters on Diwali 2026, while the second part will release on Diwali 2027.
