'Love Insurance Kompany' is a 2026 Tamil-language science fiction romantic comedy . Vignesh Shivan wrote and directed the film. It is set in 2040 where people insure relationships through a dating app named LIK. The story follows a man who believes in organic love as he challenges the tech-driven system.

It stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in lead roles. S. J. Suryah also features prominently. Supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Seeman, Gouri G Kishan, Shah Ra, Malavika and Sunil Reddy.



Pradeep Ranganathan and Vignesh Shivan's 'Love Insurance Kompany' has collected more than 10 crores overseas. The film has grossed Rs 10.60 Cr from international markets so far. This takes its total worldwide gross to Rs 49.92 Cr despite modest domestic growth.

'LIK's box office performance so farAccording to Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 34.04 Cr India net collection till date. Its India gross stands at Rs 39.32 Cr. On day 6 as first Wednesday it added Rs 1.95 Cr net across 3,560 shows with 17.4 percent occupancy. Day 7 on first Thursday collected Rs 2.44 Cr net from 3,368 shows at 16.4 percent occupancy. Week 1 total India net stands at Rs 34.04 Cr.

Overseas collections for 'LIK'The movie has grossed a total of Rs 10.60 Cr overseas. Pradeep Ranganathan and Vignesh Shivan aimed to test overseas power with this release. Yet the impact remains small compared to expectations.

The team of 'Love Insurance Kompany' held a thanksgiving event after receiving warm audience response.

Director Vignesh Shivan spoke about the effort involved, “We have invested almost everything we had to make this film. I request influencers not to attack the film but to talk about the good things in it.”

He added, “If I cook kesari, people ask why it is not spicy; if I cook chicken curry, they ask why it is not sweet. Sometimes people question everything.”

Collections showed some stability on weekdays with day 7 seeing a slight rise. Occupancy levels stayed moderate around 16 to 17 percent. The film continues its run with decent but not explosive numbers in India as expected for a Pradeep Ranganathan movie.
