Meghan Markle faced sharp criticism over her latest business venture. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, has joined AI-powered fashion discovery platform OneOff as both an investor and a featured participant, meaning her "exclusive edits" will be available for people to buy. Speaking to Angela Mollard, Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power revealed that Meghan's first edit is already live. It follows Meghan and Prince Harry landing in Australia and visiting Royal Children's Hospital where they posed for photographs with patients.

Gabriella questioned what Angela makes of Meghan's new venture, particularly after she visited the children's hospital and a women's shelter. Slamming Meghan's latest venture, Angela said: "To me, it's a really poor fit. She is going into a homeless shelter minutes after doing that, sincerely speaking to people who don't have a home to live in.

"She is putting up content showing her in her $1,500 dollar jacket, a similarly priced skirt in suede. Honestly?"

The Channel 7 commentator continued: "What she can get from this is 10 to 20 per cent of the sale of each item. She says that she's showcasing little known brands and bringing attention to fashion designers and that sort of thing but this is an entirely commercial operation.

"If you're a person at that homeless shelter and she's been wearing these big chunky gold earrings that she's then trying to flog online. This was the thing that the queen was really worried about."

Angela revealed that Meghan and Harry "leveraging" the royal brand for commercial use was something the late Queen Elizabeth II was concerned about.

She went on: "Back in 2020 when Harry and Meghan were trying to negotiate the one foot in the royals and one foot out.

"This was what the Queen was mindful of, Harry and Meghan commercialising these opportunities, leveraging the royal brand for their own means. It just doesn't sit comfortably with me."

Gabriella went on to point out that Meghan's lavish retreat has failed to sell out.

"Her Best Live retreat. I looked at the website this morning, you can still buy tickets," she said. Mocking Meghan, Gabriella added: "If anyone out there wants to spend $2,699 dollars for a standard experience or $3,139 that's per person, where you also get a group photo with Meghan, not an individual shot but a group one! Those tickets have failed to sell out."
