93.70% of Students Pass CBSE Class 10 Results; Girls Triumph Once Again, Trivandrum Region Tops the List..

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 results (Session 2025-26) on Wednesday. This time, the results were released approximately one month ahead of schedule, providing students with more time to prepare for their future academic endeavors. A total of 93.70 percent of students passed the Class 10 examinations. Once again, girls have outperformed boys in the CBSE examinations.

While 94.99% of girls passed, the pass percentage for boys stood at 92.6%. In terms of regional performance, the Trivandrum region secured the top spot. It is worth noting that the examinations were conducted from February 17 to March 10, 2026. For the first time this year, a two-board examination system was implemented. Mark sheets and certificates will be available via DigiLocker; schools have already been provided with the necessary PINs for their students.

**Girls Excel Once Again**
In the CBSE Class 10 results for 2026, girls have once again delivered a superior performance. According to statistics released by the Board, girls recorded the highest pass percentage. In 2026, the pass percentage for girls was 94.99%, compared to 95.00% in the previous year (2025). Conversely, the pass percentage for boys this year was 92.69%, which marks a slight increase from 92.63% in the previous year.

The pass percentage for transgender students stood at 87.50% this time, a decline from the 95.00% recorded in 2025. In terms of institutional performance, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) have delivered the best results. Overall, girls once again outperformed boys this year, and the Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas have proven their quality by delivering excellent results.
