Can a male become pregnant? This question arises from a bizarre incident involving a young man from Uttar Pradesh who has been declared pregnant by doctors. The circumstances surrounding this diagnosis remain unclear, but the individual has received a pregnancy certificate, leaving him in shock. Since the announcement, he has been overwhelmed with distress, as friends and family mockingly react to the news.

The 22-year-old, named Darshan, works at a cement factory in Aligarh district. He had been suffering from severe abdominal pain for several days, prompting him to seek medical help. Eventually, he visited the Sunrise Hospital located on Ramghat Road in Aligarh. After a thorough examination and an ultrasound, the doctors were astonished to discover that the source of his pain was a fetus in his abdomen.

The ultrasound report indicated that the pregnancy was located in the fallopian tube, along with swelling in the kidney area. Upon learning of his pregnancy, Darshan was left in disbelief, struggling to comprehend how this could happen.

Following advice from acquaintances, he approached the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and the District Magistrate to file a complaint regarding the hospital's handling of his case. Darshan is understandably upset about the situation, having lodged a formal complaint against the nursing home. The report suggests that a pregnancy in the fallopian tube is not viable and typically requires termination within two to two and a half months to prevent serious complications. While the report confirmed pregnancy, it also noted the swelling in the kidney area.

Some medical professionals speculate that there may have been a mix-up with the reports, possibly due to a copy-paste error from a female patient's file. This negligence has caused Darshan significant mental distress, leaving him in a state of confusion and despair. Dr. Alok Gupta, responsible for the report, has acknowledged the mistake.
