A supermarket chain is set to open a new store next week, offering customers hundreds of pounds' worth of vouchers and freebies. The Food Warehouse is opening a new supermarket at Lottbridge Drove Retail Park in Eastbourne on Tuesday (April 21).
Those queuing before 7.30am will be in with a chance of taking part in a 90-second supermarket sweep where they can fill a trolley for free. On opening day, the first 150 shoppers will get a share of £1,500 in vouchers. There will be prize draws and competitions where shoppers can win items, including seven Tower air fryers and a Daewoo Double Drawer Air Fryer. The Food Warehouse also offers customers aged 60 and over 10% off every Tuesday. The new Eastbourne branch will be open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
Kristian Barrett, COO at Iceland Foods, said: "We're excited to be opening our new store in Eastbourne, bringing more fantastic deals and a brilliant range of frozen, grocery and fresh foods to local shoppers.
"We can't wait to open our doors and see our customers enjoy the unrivalled variety of products available across the store."
Customers will be able to choose from offers including 24-packs of Pepsi Max for £7, 95-wash packs of Surf detergent for £7.50, and two value packs of McVitie's biscuits for £2.
This comes after the Food Warehouse opened a new store at Braidswater Retail Park in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, this week (April 14).
The retail outlet created 23 new jobs and also gave away £1,500 worth of vouchers, a supermarket sweep, and a number of air fryers.
The Food Warehouse is part of Iceland Foods, which operates over 950 stores across Britain, including The Food Warehouse locations which are often double the size of Iceland stores.
