Nissan SUVs: Nissan has introduced two new SUVs—Nissan Juke and Nissan X-Trail—at its Vision Global event. Among these, the third-generation model of Juke will be completely electric, while the option of hybrid engine will be given for the first time in the fourth generation of X-Trail.

Juke EV: Unique design and style
The new Nissan Juke is known for its bold and futuristic design. The same specialty is seen in the new model also. It has an aggressive look with sharp cuts. The black finish on the bonnet, roof and rear gives it a premium appeal. Also, it has been given split-headlight setup and new design alloy wheels. The rear door handles of the car are hidden in the C-pillar, which makes its design more clean. Sharp body cladding all around gives it a sporty look.

Battery and performance
The new Juke EV is expected to get 52 kWh and 75 kWh battery options, which will come with a front-mounted electric motor. This setup will be able to provide better range and performance.

X-Trail: Classic design and hybrid tech
The design of Nissan X-Trail has been kept more traditional than Juke. It has a large blacked-out front section, hexagonal DRLs and pattern grille. The side profile is straight and high, while the rear gets large LED taillamps and a strong bumper.

Possibility of e-POWER and AWD
The new X-Trail has an e-POWER hybrid system, in which the electric motor drives the wheels and the petrol engine only works as a generator.

The company has confirmed dual motor setup in it, due to which it is likely to get AWD (all-wheel drive) system. These new SUVs from Nissan reflect the company’s strong strategy in the electric and hybrid segments, which have been designed keeping in mind the future of mobility.
