Whenever cricketers meet fans and sign autographs, they often leave them with a keepsake - a cap, T-shirt, ball, or any small goodie that turns into a lasting memory. A similar moment unfolded when Angkrish Raghuvanshi interacted with a group of fans ahead of Kolkata Knight Riders’ IPL 2026 clash against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday.
One fan cheekily asked Raghuvanshi for his KKR cap, prompting a hilarious response from the young batter.
“Bhai, cap mujhe ek hi milta hai. Main paida thodi na kar dunga cap. Mummy kasam, ek hi cap hai,” he said, leaving those around in splits.
Raghuvanshi has been a bright spot for KKR this season, emerging as their highest run-getter so far. He has scored 155 runs in four matches at an average of 51.67.
However, it has been a challenging start to the campaign for the three-time champions.
They lost their opening match to the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium by six wickets and then suffered a heavy 65-run defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad at home.
Their third game against the Punjab Kings was washed out, earning them a solitary point, before they endured another setback with a defeat to Lucknow Super Giants.
With just one point from four matches, KKR find themselves struggling to gain early momentum in IPL 2026.
