HPRCA Recruitment 2024: Recruitment has been announced for various teaching positions across different subjects in Himachal Pradesh. The notification for this has been issued by the Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPRCA). According to the notification released by the Commission, a total of 390 vacancies are to be filled. The teaching positions for which applications have been invited include 78 posts for Teacher (Biology), 78 for Teacher (Chemistry), 78 for Teacher (Physics), and 156 for Teacher (Commerce).

The online application process for the positions announced by the HPRCA commenced on Monday. The deadline for applying has been set for May 4th. Consequently, eligible and interested candidates intending to fill out the application form may visit the official website and submit their registration forms within the stipulated timeframe.

Applicants must possess a Master's degree in the relevant subject—corresponding to the specific post applied for—from any recognized institution or university, secured with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, candidates must have qualified for the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) along with holding a B.Ed. degree.

**What is the Age Limit?**

The minimum age limit for candidates has been set at 18 years, and the maximum age limit at 45 years; age will be calculated as of January 1st. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with applicable rules.

**How ​​Will Selection Be Made?**

Eligible candidates will be selected based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), a written screening examination, shortlisting, and document verification. Upon selection, the appointed candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹30,000.

**What is the Application Fee?**

While filling out the application form, candidates across all categories are required to pay a prescribed application fee of ₹800 via online mode. Furthermore, for candidates who commit errors while filling out the registration form, a fee of ₹100 has been fixed for making corrections to the application.
