RRB NTPC 2025 CBT-1: The Ministry of Railways has released the schedule for the Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) for Graduate posts under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB NTPC) [CEN 07/2025]. According to the notification, the CBT-1 examination will be conducted in multiple phases during May and June 2026. The examination is scheduled to take place on May 7, May 8, and May 9, followed by additional dates on June 13 and June 14, and subsequently from June 16 to June 21. The RRB NTPC examination will be conducted by various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) at centers across the country as part of the ongoing recruitment drive.
Candidates will be informed about their allotted examination city through the issuance of an intimation slip, which will be released 10 days before the examination. Additionally, Travel Authority passes will be issued for candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories. The RRBs have clarified that all such information will be made available exclusively through their official websites.
**Admit Cards: Four Days Before the Exam**
E-call letters, or admit cards, will be issued four days before the scheduled examination date. To gain entry into the examination center, candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid photo identity card. Entry will not be permitted without these documents.
**Biometric Authentication**
Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be conducted at the examination venue before candidates are granted entry. Applicants are required to bring their original Aadhaar card or a printed copy of a verified e-Aadhaar. Candidates must ensure that their Aadhaar details—such as name, date of birth (as per Class 10 records), photograph, address, and father's name—are accurate and up-to-date. They must also ensure that their Aadhaar remains 'unlocked' within the UIDAI system on the day of the examination to avoid any inconvenience during the verification process. The Railway Recruitment Boards have advised candidates to rely solely on official sources for updates and announcements. They have also warned against falling prey to fraudulent individuals or agencies claiming to secure jobs in exchange for money, and have reiterated that the selection process will be based entirely on a candidate's performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
