Chinese tech giant Xiaomi may soon launch two new budget smartphones REDMI R70 5G and REDMI R70m 5G in its domestic market. Recently both these devices have been listed on the official Chinese website. Both these phones have been specially designed keeping in mind the entry-level and budget users, in which features like large display and powerful battery will be seen.

These upcoming smartphones of REDMI R70 series will be provided with basic but essential features along with affordable price, due to which they can become a strong option in the 5G segment. Even before the launch, initial details of these two devices have been revealed, which has increased a lot of curiosity among the users.

REDMI R70 5G series features (expected)
Both the upcoming smartphones have a 6.9-inch LCD display, which comes with 120Hz refresh rate and 720p+ resolution. It is not high-end, but can be considered adequate for everyday use like scrolling, messaging and video streaming. Talking about design, both the phones will be available in Feather White, Starry Black and some Blue and Purple color options.

Performance and software
Xiaomi has provided Unisoc T8300 chipset in both these devices, which is based on 6nm process. With this, support for LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage is available. These are phones not designed for high-end performance, but for basic and smooth usage. Both smartphones run on Android 16 based HyperOS 3.

storage variant
The REDMI R70 5G is available in variants ranging from 4GB + 128GB to 8GB + 256GB, while the REDMI R70m 5G has options up to 12GB + 256GB. Both models come with different storage configurations.

battery and camera
Camera setup has been kept basic in both the phones. It has 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. In terms of battery, 6000mAh battery can be found in REDMI R70 5G and 6300mAh battery can be found in REDMI R70m 5G, both the phones support 15W charging.
