Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has once again come under criticism on social media, this time facing allegations of arranging fake reviews to promote his films.

Recently, the first look of his upcoming movie I am young so there is love was released, which quickly drew attention online. Following this, Instagram influencer Simran Bhatt accused the actor of orchestrating staged praise for the film. In a video she shared, Simran claimed that she was approached by a group of individuals at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station in Delhi, who asked her to give a positive review of Varun Dhawan’s film.

According to Simran, the individuals told her they would guide her on exactly what to say on camera. She questioned how she could give a review without even watching the film. She further alleged that when she refused, they tried to pressure her into watching a clip and insisted she record the review. When she continued to object, she claimed they behaved rudely and asked her to leave.

Simran sarcastically questioned whether Varun Dhawan had reached a point in his career where he needed fake reviews to promote his work.

Varun Dhawan did not remain silent on the matter. Responding to her video, he commented, “I hope this video gets you the views you’re looking for.” Simran hit back by asking why he deleted his earlier comment, in which he had accused her of creating drama just to gain views.
