New Delhi: DigiLocker has asked CBSE Class 10 students to prepare their accounts in advance as the 2026 board results are expected to be announced soon. The platform, run by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, urged students not to wait for the result day and to complete the setup early.
In a post on X, DigiLocker advised students to create and verify their accounts beforehand. This suggests that the Central Board of Secondary Education may release the results shortly.
DigiLocker setup and APAAR ID detailsDigiLocker shared instructions for students, especially those who do not have an APAAR ID. Students can create their accounts through the CBSE services portal.
Students who have APAAR IDs linked with CBSE will receive their digital marksheets directly in the Issued Documents section after the results are declared. The platform said this will allow instant access without delays.
Result date and exam scheduleCBSE has not confirmed the date and time for the results. However, an early announcement is expected because the second phase of exams is scheduled for May 2026.
Around 25 lakh students are waiting for the Class 10 results this year. Last year, CBSE declared both Class 10 and Class 12 results on May 13.
Two phase exam system introducedFrom the 2026 academic session, CBSE has introduced a two phase examination system for Class 10. Students can improve their scores in up to three subjects by appearing again in Session 2.
