Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated a newly constructed sub-divisional administrative complex in Talwandi Sabo, marking the replacement of an older building that had been in use for several decades. The new facility has been developed at an estimated cost of around ₹6 crore and is expected to streamline administrative services in the region. The three-storey complex comprises 28 rooms and houses multiple government offices under one roof. These include the SDM court, tehsildar court, record room, treasury office, and a dedicated centre for issuing land-related documents. A canteen has also been included within the premises to support visitors and staff.

According to officials, the previous structure had become outdated and was no longer adequate to handle the growing administrative requirements of the area. The new building has been designed to improve accessibility and efficiency, with provisions such as high-speed internet connectivity across offices and a lift facility to ensure ease of movement for visitors. The consolidation of various services in a single location is expected to reduce the need for residents to visit multiple offices for different administrative tasks. This is particularly relevant for people from nearby villages who rely on these services for documentation, revenue-related work, and other official procedures.

During the inauguration, the Chief Minister noted that the upgraded infrastructure is intended to facilitate smoother delivery of public services. The complex is also expected to contribute to better record management and faster processing of applications. Talwandi Sabo, known for its cultural and religious significance, serves a large population from surrounding rural areas. The addition of this modern administrative complex is likely to play a role in improving service access and reducing delays in routine governance processes. Officials indicated that the facility has been equipped to handle current administrative demands while also being adaptable for future needs. The building is now open to the public, and all designated offices have begun or are in the process of shifting operations to the new premises.
