The university's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) has announced the launch of skill-based short-term courses across various disciplines. The objective of these courses is to empower students, job seekers, and working professionals to become self-reliant by providing them with practical training.

Features such as affordable fees, expert guidance, and instruction available in both online and offline modes make this initiative truly unique. Registration for these courses is set to commence on April 13, 2026.

**Over 30 Courses Launched**
Jamia's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship has introduced more than 30 courses that are directly aligned with industry requirements. These programs will provide the youth with not only theoretical knowledge but also hands-on practical training. Furthermore, the course fees have been kept affordable to ensure that the maximum number of people can benefit from this initiative.

**Special Focus on Digital and Technology Skills**
These courses place a strong emphasis on digital skills. Students can acquire proficiency in modern disciplines such as Digital Marketing, Data Science, Python, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cybersecurity. Additionally, skills such as Excel and UI/UX—which are currently in high demand within the job market—are also included in the curriculum.

**Creative, Technical, and Lifestyle Courses Included**
Beyond just technology, creative courses such as Graphic Designing and Audio-Video Editing are also available. Simultaneously, technical courses—including AutoCAD, Computer Hardware, Networking, and Electrician training—have also been introduced. Furthermore, courses in Mobile Repair, Baking, Tailoring & Embroidery, and Beautician skills are designed to prepare the youth for self-employment.

**Emphasis on Women's and Youth Empowerment**
This initiative accords special priority to the empowerment of women and the youth. Through these courses, individuals will be encouraged and enabled to become self-reliant and to launch their own entrepreneurial ventures.

**Boosting 'Skill India' and the Startup Ecosystem**
This initiative is fully aligned with national campaigns such as 'Skill India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-Reliant India). Its objective is to enhance the employability of the youth, foster a startup culture, and provide assistance in launching freelance careers and small businesses.

**Support from LBI**
Jamia's Livelihood Business Incubator (LBI) is further strengthening this initiative. Currently, over 20 certificate courses are being conducted here, focusing on enhancing digital skills and entrepreneurship.
