Death in Paradise may have recently drawn to a close, but its spin-off Beyond Paradise is in full flow, with one cast member sharing details of a delightful reunion.
Felicity Montagu, who portrays Margo Martins on the BBC drama, spoke about her experience on Beyond Paradise during a live television appearance today.
The 65 year old actress joined Channel 4's Sunday Brunch as a guest, with the programme hosted by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.
Reflecting on the Death in Paradise spin-off, in which she has appeared since 2023, Felicity said: "I think the acting's very good in it.
"I've acted for 43 years and I know when I'm acting with someone when I think it's vacuous and nothing's happening, and everyone's really doing their job."
"It's brilliantly directed and produced, and with Tony Jordan at the helm I just feel very, very safe."
Tim and Simon proceeded to screen a clip of Felicity performing alongside Derry Girls star Dylan Llewellyn, who plays Constable Kelby Hartford in the BBC mystery series, reports the Mirror.
Once the scene concluded, the host described Dylan as "such a lovely bloke", prompting Felicity to disclose that a cast get-together is on the horizon.
"Yes, he is," she agreed, "We're all meeting up in a couple of weeks' time, which is very nice."
When asked where the programme is set, Felicity confirmed: "In Devon. Shipton Abbott, it's called in the programme."
She then revealed, however, that the show is actually filmed in Looe, situated in Cornwall. "It's great," she continued, "The fish mongers have gone really upmarket since we've been there...
"And I was going to talk to them because I thought their prices had gone up, but then I thought I'd better not start," she quipped.
Beyond Paradise is due to return this Friday at 8pm, which will be welcome news for viewers who have been missing Death in Paradise, which wrapped up its latest series a fortnight ago.
Elsewhere on Sunday Brunch, Simon and Tim sat down with Keith Lemon comedian Leigh Francis and his wife Jill Carter, who confessed she was "nervous" about making her debut on screen.
Trainspotter and social media sensation Francis Bourgeois also featured in today's line-up, while Marvel actor Fra Fee and musician Jordan Rakei likewise appeared as guests.
Sunday Brunch airs every Sunday at 10am on Channel 4.
