The young Rajasthan Royals batter played another stunning innings, smashing 78 runs off just 26 balls to guide his team to a comfortable six-wicket victory over defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru. His knock included seven sixes and made the chase of 201 look easy, as Rajasthan Royals reached the target with two overs to spare.

Hailing from Samastipur in Bihar, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is achieving what most teenagers can only dream of while they are still focused on school. Known for his fearless batting style and incredible bat speed, he once again showed why he is considered a future star of the game. After confidently taking on Jasprit Bumrah in an earlier match against Mumbai Indians, he continued his aggressive approach against Josh Hazlewood in this game, hitting him for multiple boundaries with ease.

Despite facing some of the best bowlers in the world, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi remained calm and stuck to his natural game. He explained that his focus is always on executing what he practices and playing the ball on its merit, rather than being distracted by the reputation of the bowler.

However, what stood out even more was his mindset after the match. Despite scoring 78, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi admitted he was slightly disappointed, feeling that if he had stayed longer, he could have added around 20 more runs to help his team even further.
