WhatsApp Upcoming Feature: WhatsApp is working on a new design to improve its user experience. According to reports, the way Status is viewed in the app could change completely. This new change focuses on displaying Status updates directly in the Chats tab, eliminating the need for users to switch tabs repeatedly.

This new feature could add a separate section at the top of the Chats screen to display the latest status updates from your contacts. Users can easily view these updates by simply pulling down the chat list. The idea is to save users from having to navigate to different tabs to view updates, and instead have everything in one place.

This new design is currently in testing. It has been spotted in some builds on iOS via TestFlight, while development is underway for Android as well. However, this feature is not yet available to general users or beta testers.

According to media reports, WhatsApp also plans to add a new section dedicated to Status in the navigation bar. Here, you may see updates from people you interact with most frequently. It may also offer a separate option to view muted Statuses.

With this update, users will be able to post their status directly from the Chats tab. This means that both chatting and status updates can now be done seamlessly from the same screen, making the app even easier to use. Currently, this feature is not fully ready, and the company has not provided any official information regarding its launch date.

But it's believed that this change could prove to be a major update for WhatsApp users in the future. It will significantly transform the chatting experience for WhatsApp users. WhatsApp periodically makes new changes to its platform. Therefore, the extent to which users will appreciate this new feature will only be known once it's rolled out.
