The ongoing ceasefire and peace talks between America and Iran have taken a new turn. According to reports, an American team has reached Pakistan’s capital Islamabad for talks, while the Iranian delegation has also arrived there. The eyes of the world are fixed on this entire process, because the talks are being considered as “make or break” i.e. decisive.

According to the information, the Iranian delegation is led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, while the US team includes Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, advisor to former President Donald Trump.

The report claimed that the Iranian delegation’s aircraft was escorted to Islamabad amid the protection of AWACS aircraft, electronic warfare units and fighter jets while entering Pakistan’s airspace.

The biggest issue of dispute in this talks is to the Strait of Hormuz, uranium enrichment and removal of sanctions. America says that Iran will have to stop nuclear weapons development and stop uranium enrichment, while Iran in its proposal is demanding control over the Strait of Hormuz and removal of sanctions.

Iran has put forward a 10-point peace proposal, which includes demands such as non-aggression policy, end of economic sanctions, and removal of sanctions by international agencies. At the same time, in the 15-point proposal from America, it has been said to limit Iran’s nuclear program and ban regional military activities.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has described these talks as “make or break” and said that they are very important for the stability of the entire Middle East. Meanwhile, the Red Zone of Islamabad has been converted into a high security zone.

US President Donald Trump has said that talks will take place only on those “important points” which are acceptable to America. At the same time, there is confusion regarding the talks due to different claims of Iran and America.

Meanwhile, regional tensions also continue, with Israeli attacks and Hezbollah- developments amid the conflict situation in Lebanon and Yemen.
