IPL Points Table 2026 Updated After RR vs RCB match: Rajasthan Royals stayed at the top of the IPL 2026 points table after defeating defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 6 wickets on Friday, April 11.
RR got off to a great start after opting to bowl first and removed RCB’s top order in the powerplay. Jofra Archer dismissed Phil Salt for a duck in the first over and picked up his second wicket by removing Devdutt Padikkal for 14. Ravi Bishnoi dismissed Virat Kohli for 32 runs in the fifth over.
Krunal Pandya (1) and Jitesh Sharma (5) also failed to make any big contribution with the bat. Skipper Patidar batted well and scored 63 runs off 40 balls, smashing four boundaries and as many maximums. Romario Shepherd and Venkatesh provided an explosive finish in the death overs as RCB posted 201-8 in 20 overs. Chasing the target, RR started well, but Josh Hazlewood removed Yashasvi Jaiswal for 13 runs in the second over.
Dhruv Jurel and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi forged a 108-run partnership for the second wicket to help the Rajasthan-based franchise recover. Krunal removed Sooryavanshi for 78 runs and Hetmyer for a duck as RCB tried to make a comeback in the match. But Jurel stitched a 68-run partnership with Ravindra Jadeja to help RR chase down the target in 18 overs.
