Before the West Bengal Assembly elections, Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM broke the alliance with Humayun Kabir’s Aam Janata Unnayan Party, which has created a stir in the politics of the state. Actually, both the parties were busy preparing for the elections, but this sudden decision has changed the political equations. The main reason for the break of the alliance is being said to be an alleged sting video to Aam Janata Unnayan Party chief Humayun Kabir.

Actually, in this video, Humayun Kabir has been accused of making a deal worth Rs 1000 crore with BJP. This alleged sting video was released by Trinamool Congress, after which there was an uproar in the politics of West Bengal.

AIMIM decided to break the alliance

After the allegations against Kabir, Owaisi’s party took immediate action and decided to break the alliance with him. AIMIM has now announced to contest elections alone in West Bengal. This step has made it clear that the party is cautious about its image and the allegations have been taken seriously. Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader in Maharashtra Sanjay Raut has given a sharp reaction to this political development. Raut described Asaduddin Owaisi as a barrister and advised him to maintain restraint. He says that opposition parties should not take such steps which will benefit BJP.

Know what Sanjay Raut said?

Sanjay Raut said that such political tactics should not be adopted to benefit BJP. He also said that Owaisi should hold talks with opposition parties. Raut clearly said that the real enemy is BJP and the enemy of the country is also BJP. Raut further said that if someone considers himself a patriot then he should not take any political step that would help the BJP. Be it Asaduddin Owaisi or any other leader, everyone should keep this in mind.

It is noteworthy that AIMIM and Aam Janata Unnayan Party had earlier officially announced the alliance. After this, both the parties together started preparing for the West Bengal Assembly elections. At that time it was being seen as an attempt to form a third front in the state.

At the time of announcing the alliance, Humayun Kabir had said that this alliance will never break. Describing Asaduddin Owaisi as his brother, he had said that as long as he is alive, his party will remain with AIMIM. He also said that he considers Owaisi as his guardian and elder brother. At that time both the parties had talked about contesting Lok Sabha elections together in future.
