In this context, Tamil actor Suriya Sivakumar has posted a statement on the ‘X’ platform in support of the film, while actor Vishal has expressed that even if the film is released on OTT or satellite platforms, fans will still celebrate it with whistles and cheers.

Jana Nayagan leaked online: Suriya’s strong condemnation

In his post, Suriya stated: “It is heartbreaking and unjust—that the hard work and passion of an entire team have been wasted in this manner. I make a sincere appeal to all of you: please do not watch, share, or discuss this film here. Respect their hard work. I stand by my friends and strongly condemn this act. This is unforgivable!”

Vishal’s supportive message

Actor Vishal expressed that even if actor Vijay’s film Jana Nayagan is released on OTT or satellite platforms, fans like themselves will still celebrate it with whistles and cheers. “Even if Jana Nayagan is released directly on OTT or satellite television, we will enjoy it within the confines of our homes with the same level of enthusiasm. There will be only one difference: instead of a cinema hall, we will whistle for our beloved actor right inside our own homes. We realize that this is a difficult financial decision for the production team. Furthermore, even though the film does not appear to be controversial, we respect the decisions of the Censor Board. Legally, our collective expectation is that Jana Nayagan should be released in theaters soon. We all hope that your film becomes available for us to watch legally in the near future.
