Tatiya near Vrindavan area is a place where even today the natural beauty remains intact like in the Dwapar era. It is believed that Kaliyuga has not arrived here yet. According to religious belief, Lord Krishna left his body at Tatiya place. Religious experts believe that Kaliyuga started after Lord Krishna left his body, but Dwapar Yuga is still alive in Tatia. Tatiya place is completely different and special from the noise and bustle of Vrindavan. Many devotees come to Shri Mohini Bihari Temple here on the day of Radha Ashtami. People here use well water instead of tap water. The most special thing here is that the saints and sages living here do not take donations or dakshina. Apart from this, donation box has also not been kept in Shri Mohini Bihari Temple.
Rise of Haridas sect
It is believed that the first Acharya Haridas ji of Haridas sect lived here. Shri Lalit Kishore Ji, the seventh disciple of Haridas Ji, used to perform bhajans here, whose disciple Mahant Shri Lalit Mohan Das had built the temple of Shri Mohini Bihari Ji in 1823. Bamboo palisade was planted around the temple, due to which even today bamboo trees can be seen all around.
How to reach Tatiya holy site?
This place is just one kilometer away from Nidhivan of Vrindavan. People who want to visit this place can come to Mathura via train or bus from their state. Then from there reach Vrindavan by bus or car. After reaching Vrindavan one can reach Tatiya Dham within an hour.
Special rules for visiting Tatiya place
keep the phone switched off – All the people coming here should avoid using mobile phones because taking photos and using phones is prohibited here.
Keep your head covered – It is believed that all the women coming here always keep their heads covered. For this reason, women coming here should carry a scarf or scarf with them, so that they can cover their heads.
Take care of cleanliness – Often when people go to a tourist place, they knowingly or unknowingly spread litter, like throwing empty bottles on the road. Avoid making this type of mistake, as this place is extremely clean.
