Bryson DeChambeau recently made clear he is keeping his options open on the romantic front after being linked with Lilia Schneider. In a recent podcast interview, the American stated "Uh no, I'm keeping that open," when it came to his love life.

The American golfer is currently battling his way through the Masters following a troubled opening round at Augusta National. DeChambeau finished at four-over par, with the current cut line sitting at three-over. This means the 32-year-old will need to significantly raise his game when the second round gets underway on Friday, or he will squander yet another chance at a major title.

One comfort many golfers rely upon during a tough week on the Georgia course is the support of their partners, with numerous families spotted at the Par Three contest earlier in the week. Yet DeChambeau has kept his personal life firmly under wraps in recent years, and while fellow competitors welcomed their loved ones to the Par Three, the American was accompanied on the course by Hollywood actor Kevin Hart as his caddie.

Most recently, DeChambeau was romantically linked with Schneider, a golf content creator and student-athlete. DeChambeau was swift to dismiss the rumour during a podcast appearance as he said: "Uh no. I'm keeping that open."

DeChambeau's first venture into the public spotlight romantically was with Instagram model Sophia Phalen. The Sun reported that the pair began dating before the 2018 Ryder Cup, though it remains unclear exactly when the relationship ended.

Phalen remained in the golfer's life when he secured his first major title in 2020, expressing that she was "beyond proud" of DeChambeau for claiming the US Open. Following his six-shot triumph, the swimwear entrepreneur said: "Biggest congratulations to this guy!!! Beyond proud of you B!"

Following Phalen, speculation emerged that DeChambeau was linked to former college professional golfer Hunter Nugent. The pair were rumoured to be an item in 2022, with the strongest indication being that the US Open champion posted her Instagram story to his own account on Valentine's Day.

It was actually Nugent who addressed the Schneider speculation, according to OutKick, after dismissing the suggestion that she was with DeChambeau at a LIV Golf event in Chicago last year.

At the time, a photograph surfaced of the golfer seated in a cart alongside a mystery blonde woman, whom Nugent insisted was not her. The aspiring golf influencer said: "Bryson and I aren't dating anymore."

While none of DeChambeau's relationships have ever been officially acknowledged by the man himself, he does have a strategy for his future romantic prospects. When addressing his dating approach, the American added: "It's weird because I've started, I don't know how to say this, it's very dynamic, let's say that as of right now.

"And I'm just trying to keep it simple and this time goes on I eventually want to find the right person.

"I'm trying to find the right person right now, and I feel like there is somebody that I am talking to that's different and unique and you know, there's something there."
