Adivi Sesh and Munal Thakur’s Dacoit is now in theatres and has opened to mixed reviews. The film is being praised for its acting and technical brilliance, but many are criticising it for an inconsistent storyline. The film’s story follows two former lovers who are forced to reunite and pull off a series of robberies that end up changing their lives.

Earlier, talking about the film, Adivi Sesh had told Times Now that Dacoit is a modern-day Sholay, adding, “I think it’s an extremely emotionally charged and angry story. Dacoit has laughter, anger and tears—every emotion that should be there in films. The story is told from the perspective of a neo-Western.”

Earlier, Dacoit was all set to clash with Dhurandhar 2. However, the makers postponed the release to April since March was filled with releases.
