Popular Telugu star Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur starrer Dacoit directed by Shaneil Deo has finally released in theatres after several delays.
The movie was initially slated for the Christmas 2025 release but was then pushed to the Eid 2026 release.
However, to avoid clashing with Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the movie was pushed to April 10, 2026.
Also starring Anurag Kashyap, Dacoit has been getting a lot of response from the audience. Take a look at it below.

Sharing their review of Dacoit, one social media user wrote, “#Dacoit - Adivi Sesh & Mrunal Thakur deliver Strong Performances. Subtle role for Anurag. Technically Great Work. After Boring 35Mins, Film picks up well till Interval. Further happenings in 2nd hlf r unexciting with convenient writing. Climax Justified, But Less Impact. AVERAGE!”
Another user reviewed, “#Dacoit stands out for its technical brilliance- cinematography, sound design, and overall aesthetics are top-notch. The climax truly forms the heart of the film. Adivi Sesh delivers an outstanding performance as #Dacoit”.

A third user commented, “Dacoit Review: A Love Story, Told Dull. #Dacoit is a love story at heart, but neither the emotion works nor does the action impress. The film stays dull throughout. Mrunal gets another sensible, goodwill role, while Sesh’s accent is a mixed bag. From Anurag Kashyap to Atul Kulkarni, no one makes a real impact. Watch it with the right expectations.”
A fourth user wrote, “#Dacoit – Review After a decent first half, the second half starts on a good note with a twist. But later, it goes off track with repetitive heist episodes. The emotional core is good but doesn’t land well. The overall idea and setup feel routine and old, but are presented in a modern way with a neat background score and editing.”
