The date for the BPSC AEDO (Assistant Education Development Officer) examination is now fast approaching. This examination is scheduled to be held across various districts of Bihar on April 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, and 21, 2026. The examination will be entirely objective in nature. As the exam draws near, anxiety regarding preparation and stress levels among candidates are on the rise. At such a juncture, adopting the right strategy becomes absolutely crucial. Experts advise that, during these final days, instead of starting new topics, it would be far more beneficial to undertake a thorough revision of subjects already studied. This approach can significantly enhance performance and bolster the chances of success.

**What Candidates Should Do in the Final Days**

According to Dr. Akhilesh Kumar—a former DSP and mentor for competitive examinations—very little time now remains before the exam. Consequently, candidates need not spend their time solving new practice sets or continuously taking mock tests. He suggests that, during the remaining days, candidates should cease practicing questions and instead focus their entire attention on revision.

At this stage, it is particularly important to focus on data-based information—such as names, years, and key statistics—as well as tricks and formulas for Mathematics and Reasoning. For the General Studies (GS) paper, consolidating facts across various subjects is of paramount importance. Cultivate the habit of recalling and reviewing these facts even during your spare moments. The more you revise, the stronger your preparation will become.

**Avoid This Mistake at All Costs**

He further advised that, first and foremost, candidates should download their admit cards and gather complete details regarding their examination centers well in advance. It is not uncommon for candidates to inadvertently reach the wrong center, which leads to unnecessary complications. Furthermore, always ensure you arrive at the examination center ahead of the scheduled time.

Keeping the summer heat in mind, make sure to carry water and glucose with you to prevent dehydration. Also, carry a cotton handkerchief or cloth to ensure that your OMR sheet does not get damaged due to perspiration. Additionally, it is absolutely essential to carefully adhere to all instructions provided on the admit card. At this stage, do not attempt to start anything new, nor should you succumb to stress. Approach the examination with a calm mind and self-confidence.
