Drinking lukewarm milk at night is considered very beneficial for health. In Indian tradition, milk has been given the status of “complete diet” for centuries, while in Ayurveda it is considered not only nutrition but also an effective medicine, although it is very important to know the right time and right way to use it.

Milk not only provides energy and nutrition to the body but also calms the mind. If taken properly, it can be helpful in preventing many diseases. Generally people drink plain milk, but adding some medicinal things to it further increases its benefits.

Turmeric Milk: It can be taken in limited quantity even in summer. It increases immunity and makes the body strong from within. In this season only a pinch of turmeric is sufficient.

Saffron Milk: If women have low fertility then saffron milk works to strengthen the uterus. This also makes the skin and hair glow.

Ashwagandha Milk: Ashwagandha is considered a medicine to balance Tridosha in Ayurveda. If the problem of weakness in the body and pain in bones persists then Ashwagandha milk will be beneficial. It also helps in removing the weakness of men.

Nutmeg Milk: This milk will act like a medicine for those people who are surrounded by infection with every changing season. Cough and cold occur as the weather changes. It keeps the body warm from inside and also provides relief from cold and cough.

Cinnamon Milk: For diabetic patients, cinnamon milk is beneficial in controlling sugar. It also helps in keeping the brain calm by controlling milk sugar, which reduces the problem of insomnia.
