Importance of pH level
(Health Corner): The pH scale is used in science to understand the sour or pungent nature of a substance. This scale ranges from 1 to 14, with a level between 7.34 and 7.42 considered neutral. Levels from 1 to 7 are acidic and levels from 7 to 14 are alkaline. If the pH level is less than 7.42 then it is called acidic, whereas if it is more than 7.34 then it is alkaline. These imbalances can lead to infections and other health problems in the body.
Ways to maintain pH balance
remedy: A small amount of acid is required to eliminate germs in the body. Therefore, it is essential to have a balanced diet that includes both acids and alkalines.
