Araria Horrific Murder: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Bihar’s Araria district on Thursday, where a cart driver was killed by a cart driver over a minor dispute. After which the angry mob beat the accused to death. This double murder created a sensation in the entire area. At the same time, Leader of Opposition and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav have raised questions regarding law and order after this incident.

Controversy over carting

Rahul Chauhan, a cart owner, had a dispute with Nabi Hussain over setting up a cart near gate number two of Agricultural Produce Market Committee (disbanded) of Forbesganj police station area. During this, Rahul cut off Nabi’s head with a sharp knife and separated it from his body and his head fell on the road. After this horrific incident, there was chaos in the area. After this, the accused hid in the bush towards the warehouse being built in the Agricultural Produce Market Committee.

People beat the accused to death

On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot, found the accused Rahul, arrested him and started taking him with them. Nabi Hussain’s family members reportedly pulled Rahul out of police custody while the accused was being taken away. Then he was beaten to death. After this, heavy police force along with Forbesganj SDM Abhay Kumar Tiwari and SDPO Mukesh Kumar Saha, Forbesganj police station incharge Manoj Kumar reached the spot. The police took both the bodies into their custody.

Tejashwi Yadav raised questions

On this incident, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav wrote in his ex-post, ‘This is the terrible situation of Bihar, in Forbesganj of Araria district, a person publicly cut the throat of another person in the middle of the market and kept roaming with his head among hundreds of people. Later, the family members of the deceased found the murderer and killed him too. The police also seemed to be saving lives instead of maintaining law and order. What could be a bigger picture of Mahachoupat Raj than this?

The Leader of Opposition further wrote, ‘This incident clearly shows to what extent the law and order situation in Bihar has deteriorated. The ruling BJP-JDU leaders are engaged in the game of ‘CM Chair’ and incidents of robbery, murder, crime and rape are increasing every day in Bihar. The courage of the criminals is so high that murders are taking place in broad daylight and there is no fear of the law at all.

He said, ‘The common people of Bihar are feeling insecure due to the busy and battered NDA rule. There is no NDA rule in Bihar, there is Mahachoupat rule. Narendra Modi will again sing the tuneless tune of Jungle Raj when he comes to the elections after five years. And one more thing, the scene of beheading and roaming around was a scene from a recently released propaganda film, the poison that the BJP government is filling in the society for its propaganda is also heart-wrenching.
