Nigohan (Lucknow): In Nandauli village of Nigohan police station area, under the influence of alcohol, a laborer was brutally beaten to death by his own colleague over a dispute over just Rs 600 and a mobile phone. The post-mortem report of the body of 22-year-old Rakish Rawat, found on the roadside on Beniganj road on Tuesday, confirmed about ten serious injuries, after which the police, acting on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, arrested the accused Dhanraj alias Tatu.
According to police station in-charge Anuj Tiwari, during a dispute over drinking alcohol after wages, the accused had snatched Rakish’s belongings and when he protested, he killed him. Police said that the arrested accused also has an old criminal history, while this heart-wrenching incident has created chaos in the family of the deceased.
