Cameron Green was in the limelight for the last few matches, not just due to his form with the bat, but also on when he is going to bowl in the 2026 Indian Premier League. The Kolkata Knight Riders spend a huge INR 25.20 crores on him in the mini auction. And in the match against the Mumbai Indians, the KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane cheekily expressed his frustration with Cricket Australia for not giving Green the NOC to bowl in the IPL.
However, on April 9, in the match between KKR and the Lucknow Super Giants, in a rain-soaked Kolkata, Green finally got the ball in hand. And in the second ball, he took Rishabh Pant's wicket.
In the 9th over, Green delivered a short outside ball to the LSG captain, to which the latter tried to swipe. However, it went off the top edge to Kartik Tyagi, who has to move right from short fine leg and finishes the catch.
